Since 1994, Craig, ‘The Dog Man’, has had a career handling general and specialist operational dogs, the duties of which have given him a vast working knowledge of canines and their behaviour, to which he has received Commendations for his successful dog related work.

His passion and dedication for dogs and their habits gave him the desire to further his knowledge, and in 2004 he graduated from Bishop Burton College Yorkshire (in association with Hull University) with a BTEC Higher National Certificate in Canine Behaviour and Training.

In February of this year, his employer granted a career break in order for him to return to Bishops Burton College to further his studies in the behavioural processes of the canine.

‘The Dog Man’ is a member of the British Institute of Professional Dog Trainers and the British Police and Service Canine Association.

In 2004, Craig and his wife Karen setup their own small and exclusive boarding kennels Quintessential Quarters and quickly set a benchmark of excellence. Their clients began to ask for behavioural advice, dog training and the supply of full and part trained dogs for professional use.

1-2-1 dog coaching was a natural development and ‘The Dog Man’ began to be popular. He receives personal introductions from local Veterinary Practices, attracts clients from neighbouring counties and more recently has created a partnership with a local agricultural college, where he independently assesses the Kennel Club Good Citizen dog training scheme.
