Quintessential was the answer to my prayer. I was in desperate need for someone to look after my two poodles as I do. One of the poodles needs special care because he is blind and diabetic. They were boarded for two weeks. When I returned they looked so good it was obvious they had received so much love, care and attention. I would have no worries about leaving them ever again. I have already booked them in again for along weekend. I would recommend Quintessential to anyone who loves their pets as I do.

Just a quick note to thank you most sincerely for looking after Jasper over the Christmas break.

From his condition and disposition upon our return it was again obvious that he has been cared for to the highest of standards. Unlike other kennels there was not the slightest aroma of "dog" when he returned which must be a reflection upon hygiene and cleanliness in addition to genuine canine understanding.

Just a short note to thank you so very much for taking such good care of Harry the Dachshund.  It is thanks to you that we were able to have such a relaxing holiday, knowing that Harry was in your capable hands.  As we explained when we first spoke to you, Harry was a rescue dog (from a pet shop in Hong Kong) and spent the first 6 months of his life in a small cage with no socialisation and very little food.  Consequently, he is a nervous little dog and we were worried about how he would take to being left in new surroundings.  You reassured us and the socialisation days were invaluable in getting him used to you and his temporary accommodation.
 
It would appear that Harry had such a good time with you that when you dropped him off at our house on the day that we flew back, he actually looked over his shoulder to see where his new friend was going!  It is because of the amazing facilities you offer, and the obvious love, care and attention you lavish on your "guests" that we would have no hesitation in recommending your kennels to anyone and we will certainly be using you again in the future.
 
Oh, and Harry says thanks very much for the doggy treats you sent him home with!

We just wanted to say a really big 'Thank you' for looking after Charlie so well while we were away. You have absolutely fabulous facilities for the animals (a far higher standard than a lot of 'people' hotels in this country)! and it is obvious that you care passionately about your guests and their well being.

We would not even consider using any one else as no one would be able to come close to your standards, we would recommend you to anyone and everyone without reservation.

We would just like to take this opportunity of thanking you for how well you have looked after Lacey our 2 1/2 year old Akita bitch.

As you are aware she has the added complication of an Auto Immune illness of Pemphigus Foliaceus that means her immune system eats her own healthy tissues. This has caused over 12 months of extensive and expensive vets treatments, however, the benefit of being able to place her within your separate isolation unit, for her health and not other dogs as her illness is non contagious, has resulted in her being kennelled with you on a few occasions. When we pick her up she is bright, in good condition and not stressed at all. You also administer the medication she requires to control this problem and again we have no problem with this being completed satisfactorily as we receive the completed medicine chart upon her discharge. As you can imagine it is hard to trust anyone with Lacey due to these problems, however, we feel we can now.

This e-mail cannot thank you and the team at Quintessential enough for how you have looked after Lacey, and most certainly we will be using you again and recommending to friends. Holiday dates for 2009 now being prepared in confidence.

Thank you for looking after Deefa and Molly. It was so nice to pick them up and find that they had enjoyed their stay.

The main reason for choosing you services was that Deefa had not been willing to go into kennels due to a bad experience that he had received at the first kennel that he went into and Molly suffered from stress causing hair loss when she was parted from me for long periods. Well all those problems are gone, on return from a two week break both were in better condition than when I left them with you. They are both healthier and fitter due to a change in their diet and the way that you looked after them. Deefa did not panic when we arrived at the kennels in fact he was wagging his tail with excitement and Molly returned with her hair intact because she was not stressed.

I will keep them on the new diet as it suits them and they look better on it. I can go on holiday without worrying for the first few days about their well being.

The team at Quintessential don't just care for the cats, they interact with them daily and really get to know the cats. We returned to pick up two happy healthy cats who did not want to come home!! Absolutely fantastic!

After searching long and hard I came across this 'gem' - individual care for individual cats.

An exceptional cattery where the care of our cats was second to none. Very friendly service with professional advice.

Very modern accommodation and by comments on our cats by staff they knew their characters so had obviously looked after them well.

She had been so well loved that she clung to the owner when we went to collect her! I would recommend QQ to anyone.

Following the collection of our dog Jack today, just a thank you as previously he was not looking the best and took some time to get over been in previous dog kennels, but he looks good now. At home he is totally a different dog than previous kennels. So you have certainly gained a new customer and will recommend to others.

Kittens very well cared for, played with and groomed.  Cattery showed a genuine interest in the cats' happiness and got to know individual traits – very re–assuring.

First time that my cat has been to a cattery but I am over the moon with all that it has to offer.  Especially the love, care and attention.

Our 2 cats looked healthy and content.  We will be definitely using the cattery again.  Very, very satisfied and happy with service.

Would recommend them to anyone!  Very friendly, helpful, would definitely use them again.

I would like thank you very much for looking after Tess so well. She is a very happy and fitter dog after her visit with you all. Thank you very much for looking after looking after me last week Mummy and Daddy were involved in other things. I had a most pleasant time and enjoyed the whole of my stay. The food was fantastic; accommodation and cleanliness were first class. Since all the other dogs were quiet and contented I was able to get a good nights sleep. During my stay I had a number of nice walks in the pleasant countryside and the Staff was friendly and treated me extremely well. I look forward to seeing you all again later in the week and when I come for my training session with Craig. I must say that since I have been attending your training course both Mummy and Daddy seem to understand how I think and react and after you told them to stop 'nagging' at me they are walking to heel much better and are not pulling on the lead. I would like to say a big thank you' for the training of our recently acquired 4 year old Labrador, Murphy. He may be handsome but he was also very strong and difficult to handle on the lead. He also rarely sat down on command. Our problem was also how were going to manage to cope with him and our eight year old Labrador bitch that attacked other dogs when they came near. Your advice, enthusiasm and eventually help to put the two together have made all the difference. Murphy is now a very well behaved dog making this a truly remarkable transformation. I can now take both dogs out on a lead and enjoy them to heal. The two are now inseparable and a delight to have around the home. Our year old rescue dog was on the verge of being returned to the kennels as he was out of control and unmanageable. Thanks to you your training sessions and advice, we now have an obedient and much improved dog. He is a pleasure to take walking as he can run free, play with other dogs and come back to us command. Earlier this year we experienced pro blems when we introduced a new puppy into our home. Our 31/2–year old Golden Retriever, Holly, became stressed and aggressive towards the puppy. Eventually for the wellbeing of all concerned, including ourselves, we reluctantly returned the puppy to the breeder but with determination to resolve the problems and to re–establish our trust in Holly. The person to whom we turned for help was Craig Flint, a man who has, through his skill knowledge, enthusiasm, kindness and commitment wrought an unbelievable change in Holly's behaviour and attitude to life. This to the point where a friend who has known Holly since a 6 week old puppy said, 'Is this the same dog? How she has changed and for the better! It's amazing!' It's amazing, is how we feel too. With Craig's help we have had the pleasure of seeing Holly blossom into loving, happy, relaxed and obedient dog that wants to and enjoys her training.

The technique Craig teaches of positive re–enforcement combined with play and exactly what we as owners were looking for. There are no harsh words or actions making it a pleasurable experience for the dogs and the owners. Craig also gives generously of his time to ensure that as owners one feels totally supported in the training process. Added to Craig's skills are the superb kennel and facilities at Quintessential Quarters. On all our visits both dogs and accommodation are freely open inspection and are always in immaculate condition, a testament to the hard work and commitment of Craig, Karen and their staff. Just a quick note to thank you for the way you looked after Jess & Abbey. My wife and son were very impressed at their first viewing of your kennels, but the 'proof is in the pudding' and both dogs came out to greet us after 3 weeks, looking incredibly happy, healthy and well cared for. Just a quick note to say how pleased we were with the way you looked after Kai recently. We were very apprehensive to kennel him for three weeks, however when we picked him up we knew that we had made the right decision. He was leaner and looked amazing when we collected him. How can we ever thank you enough for the first class care, love + attention you all gave Millie in caring for her + helping us through the process of leaving our 'baby' with you. Just a little note to say a really big thanks for all of your advice.  Looks like the antibiotics have cured the problem, we have now had almost a month with no problems. Worth the £200 it cost on tests and antibiotics (thank god we are insured !!!) Jenny seems much more settled and we have now had a fair few nights without being disturbed either by Jenny or the little one. Thanks again for your help, much appreciated.
